It’s time to end the battle in your head.

About-1.png

Self-doubt, relentless overthinking, negative self-talk—it’s like you’re locked in a battle with your own thoughts, and they’re calling the shots. We get it, and we’re here to flip the script.

No more getting stuck in the same mental loops.

No more feeling trapped in your own head.

Because let’s face it, your mind can be brutal. We’ve all been there, fighting a battle no one else can see, wondering if it’s even possible to find relief. Our mission is simple: to help you reclaim your peace of mind.

Your mind’s been running you in circles. Let's get you moving forward.

Hi, I’m Zack.
Founder of The Aligned Mind.

My path to becoming a therapist wasn’t traditional.

My background is in medical anthropology—the study of how different cultures understand and treat illness. I’ve always wanted to know: What actually helps people heal? That question led me to the Yale School of Medicine, where I worked in mental health research.

What I found wasn't just a deeper understanding of mental health. It was an appreciation for how often our minds can become obstacles to the very things we want most.

Anxiety can keep us safe but also keep us stuck. Self-criticism can drive achievement but erode confidence. The same mental habits that once helped us adapt can eventually begin working against us.

Using evidence-based approaches, we help you understand how these patterns developed, why they persist, and what it takes to create lasting change.

Understanding your mind is important.
Learning how to get it on your side is where change begins.
